2016 has been a year full of ups and down. Although some really good shows have started this year, a few shows that the audiences love are going off-air as well! These shows were quite good at what they showed and had good viewership too. But things can’t be changed now and we have to keep a stone on our hearts and say goodbye to these shows. Ek Duje ke Vaaste is a show we can never forget! It showed us the unconventional yet relatable love story of Shravan(Namik Paul) and Suman(Nikita Dutta). The show ran for a short period of around 8 months, and we simply can’t say goodbye to this one of a kind show.
Colors has been trying to make shows with bold concepts. Shows like Balika Vadhu, Shakti… Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii and Krishnadasi are a kind that put light on the Tabboo concepts in India. Krishnadasi was a well-crafted show. The show was a complete package that consisted of amazing picturization, plot twists, a gripping story and on point casting. Shravan Reddy and Sana Amin Sheikh did a wonderful job on the show.
Chakravartin Ashok Samrat is one of the best historic shows made in India till date! The show took us through the journey of Ashoka right from his childhood till his adult life. The show was a visual treat and Samrat Ashoka’s extensive story made the show irresistible. In case you haven’t watched this show, you should definitely put it on your Bing list!
Out of all these shows, Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhaniya is the shortest running one. It has been airing only for a couple of months and is going off air soon. The show didn’t fetch the expected viewership and has been pulled back. If it was given time, we bet the show would have picked up pace. The concept was 10/10 but the execution is the main reason why it’s going off-air.
