Inspired by son Varun Dhawan, David Dhawan to make a serious film

Without precedent for his whole vocation as a producer, David Dhawan has now chosen to go genuine. In what could be a radical vocation pivot, David now intends to complete a genuine (read: non-comic drama) film with his child ahead of the pack.

This choice came in the wake of seeing his child Varun Dhawan’s work in Shoojit Sircar’s October. Says David reverently, “I can’t trust the work that my child is doing. When I take a gander at the work he’s doing I overlook all that I’ve done as such far. Varun isn’t apprehensive about disappointment. He doesn’t take after any equation, nor hold fast to any set example. I have to likewise move far from the set equation, locate a daring course. He reveals to me it’s exceptionally freeing. I should attempt it.”
