BB 15: Umar Riaz on if he felt bad that Salman Khan bashed him
Umar Riaz is now out of the Bigg Boss 15 house and his eviction continues to be a talking point for one and all. Many feel that it is extremely unfair but nevertheless he is now out and won’t be re-entering. Riaz was bashed a lot by host Salman Khan which was a point that was bashed upon by the fans as well.
Recently in a tell-all interview with ETimes TV, Riaz talked about being scolded by host Khan, how brother Asim Riaz comforted him and other things. He first said, “I take it as a pride that I have been scolded by superstar Salman Khan. My father also says that don’t forget you have been scolded by Salman Khan. I am happy ke ‘Bhai ne daanta hai chalega.’ I was ready to even get slapped by Salman Khan (laughs), people would remember me getting slapped by him (jokes). It is usually said that getting a punch from Mike Tyson or Mohammad Ali is a big thing, so I never took it in a negative light. I would feel great when he would talk to all of us. He once praised me for doing good in the game and for me it was a big thing. Once during BB 13 he had called Asim He-man and though he did not call me He-man but he once praised my game. I have grown up watching his movies, loved his style and then getting a chance to speak to him daily was a big thing for me. I would initially get scared seeing him and even the rest of the contestants. His aura is different and that’s the reason I was always a little shy or conscious in front of him. I don’t think Indian television has a host like him and I respect Salman sir from the bottom of my heart.”
When asked about if he accepts the decision of eviction, he said, “I accept the decision of my eviction and accept it as a part of my life. All the experiences I have in life I take it as a lesson. Life is all about ups and downs and we should just take it in good stride. I believe when something bad happens, we start thinking about the creator and hence it is just a way of God to make us think about him. I just ask God to give me strength to fight when bad times come. I thank everyone including the makers who gave me an opportunity to be a part of the show. It is Asia’s biggest show and I am lucky I got this opportunity, I could perform and gain so much love.”
When asked as to wit whom will he remain friends with, he said, “I am going to be friends with Karan, Rajiv, and Rashami. I had a journey with them and I stayed with them till the last so they will be friends. I will also stay in touch with Shamita.”
Finally, talking about how Asim comforted him, he said, “I am with Asim and he’s taking good care of me. I am fine now. When I came home I was very stressed out but he took good care of me and calmed me down. He told me, “Relax, look you have won so many hearts and it is fine.” I was broken and had a heartbreak as I got eliminated so close to the finale.”
