Anupamaa: Sagar Parekh to replace Paras Kalnawat as Samar Shah in the show

While mostly, Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ makes through the headlines for the content of the show, this time around the show has managed to grab headlines because of the recent controversy. Paras Kalnawat who played the character of Samar in the show has been terminated by the makers on account of breaching the contract and signing a show with a rival channel. Paras apparently signed ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ for Colors before informing the makers of ‘Anupamaa’.

Rajan Shahi, producer of ‘Anupamaa’ (Directors’ Kut Productions) released a statement mentioning that they’ve terminated Paras from the show. Later, Paras also put out a few statements stating that he wasn’t happy with his character graph. He also stated that he hadn’t signed ‘Jhalak…’ when the news came out.

Well, there were news about actor Suvansh Dhar being roped in for the show as Samar. But now, as per confirmed news, actor Sagar Parekh has been roped in as Samar thereby replacing Paras Kalnawat in the show. Sagar is known for his stint in shows like ‘Internet Wala Love’, ‘Sirf Tum’ among others. He will also be a part of VOOT’s ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan’.

Sagar is speculated to start shooting for the show from tomorrow onwards.

Currently, the track of the show revolves around Pakhi being agitated with Anupamaa for not favouring her against Vanraj and letting her stay at Kapadiya house. Pakhi has lashed out at Anupamaa in quite a harsh manner and now Anuj is all set to take the charge of the discussion on her behalf.
