Kamna Pathak talks about resuming shoot post lockdown
Actress Kamna Pathak, who is better known as Rajjo in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, is delighted to be back on the set. Kamna had gone to her home town Indore just before the lockdown and then got stuck there for more than 3 months. She says, ”The lockdown time was well spent and I was with my family. In the last 10 years, I have not spent so much time with them, so I was very happy. Because in Mumbai I would have been very lonely since I stay alone. I have helped my mom in the kitchen and also learned a lot of new dishes. I could only make Maggie earlier, but now I am capable of cooking many dishes. This pandemic has also taught me one thing – be alert and be safe and stay healthy. Only then can you take care of your family.”
Ask her if she must’ve missed the Happu gang, she says, “I have missed Rajjo a lot and missed my sweet family. At home, I used to pretend to be Rajjo and sing and interact with my fans on social media. But I missed the set and the interactions with my cast and crew a lot.”
About resuming shoots again, Kamna says, “Initially I was neutral and couldn’t understand the emotions. I was happy but somewhere in my mind, I was scared too. But my producer Binaifer mam has helped me a lot – right from the time I have boarded a flight from Indore to Mumbai to and being comfortable. The way she has taken care of me is like a family and I lack words to thank her. Even Sanjay Sir has been guiding and protecting us. I feel very secured and am very thankful to them.”
Speaking about the special diet she is following Kamna explains, ”I am having Amla juice because Vitamin C is important and also eating a lot of green vegetables along with some dry fruits and Kadha.”
Speaking more about the producer duo Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli, Kamna says, ”Both of them know the pulse of the audience. Making them laugh in the current situation is not easy. In the past also the way they have produced shows like FIR, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, they have given comedy a new touch on Indian television. I can proudly say Happu is also gearing up for a lot of good stories in the coming time and we will give people smiles back on their face and people will forget Corona (smiles).”
