Rajeshwari Sachdev clarifies she has not quit ‘Shaadi Mubarak’

Has she or hasn’t she? That seems to be the constant question when it comes to actor Rajeshwari Sachdev and her stint in the show, Shaadi Mubarak. Sachdev has been an integral part of the Star Plus but only recently we reported about how the actor has apparently quit the show not being happy with the development of her track and also for personal reasons.

However, it seems that there is a change to this take right now where now she has come forward to clarify that actually, she hasn’t quit the show.

In an interview with Tellychakkar, Sachdev said, “I have not quit Shaadi Mubarak. I am on a break and shall resume. There is a certain way the show started and for now it is time for Rati’s (Pandey) character to take charge. There is a time when certain characters do not have a track but that does not mean that they quit. Manav and I are extremely good friends and we have known each other from a long time. He has a good knowledge about his craft and I feel he is a wonderful actor. I enjoy working with him.”

She added, “I find Kusum to be a very serious character and very attuned to life. She was not thrown off track due to situations and she was a stable woman. That is why she had a sense of humour. She was a very practical and grounded woman.”

Whatever the case may be, we are sure her fans would be extremely glad to know that she will be back in the show soon.
