Vidhi Pandya talks about riding a two wheeler in ‘Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye’
Soumya, essayed by Vidhi Pandya, has been a much-loved character from Sony Entertainment Television’s latest favourite, Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye. An independent woman who believes in turning her dreams and aspirations into reality, Soumya (Vidhi Pandya) struggles to be liked and accepted in a blinding marriage with an egoistic, powerful man, but she continues to find the bright spot and follow it as she progresses on her path to become a good writer.
As Soumya (Vidhi Pandya) makes plans to impress her mother-in-law Sushma (Alka Badola Kaushal), the perfect opportunity strikes when Sushma needs a ride to a high-class lunch in the city, but their own car is unavailable. An independent woman who has always been responsible for her own travel even in her days of struggle, Soumya comes to Sushma’s rescue and offers to drop her off on a two-wheeler. Although sceptical, Sushma hops on as both women set off on their journey towards becoming more independent.
Vidhi Pandya, who plays the role of Soumya on the show, reminisces about her own good days spent riding a bike and chasing the clouds. She says “We all have those fun teenage memories of riding through the busy lanes on a bike with our best friends, singing old melodies and laughing as loud as we could. During this track, I could not help but think of those beautiful rainy days back then, when we would just blast some good old tunes and drive off. Those windy scooter rides have always served as a reminder of being independent and having due power over our own decisions; all those feelings came rushing back the minute I donned my helmet for this particular track.”
