Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’: Abhimanyu rejects Manish’s condition

The Monday episode of Rajan Shahi’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” started with Manish visiting the Birlas. Everyone is shocked to see him there and Harshvardhan tells him that he shouldn’t have left the hospital without permission as if something happens to him the hospital will be blamed for it. Manish tells them that he feels fine and is there to talk to Abhimanyu privately. Abhimanyu asks the others to leave from there.

Meanwhile, Akshara is worried where Manish might be and just then she gets a text from Abhimanyu saying that Manish is with him and he will keep updating her. Akshara gets more stressed thinking Manish was angry with Abhimanyu and something bad might happen at the Birla house. She informs Kairav about the same and shows him Abhimanyu’s message too. They immediately leave for Birla’s house.

At the same time, Abhimanyu checks Manish’s pulse and tells him that he is his doctor first. He gives him a glass of water and asks him what it is that he wants to talk about. Manish tells him he is there to talk about Akshara, to which Abhimanyu tells him that he knows it is concerning her because it’s only for Akshara that Manish would have taken the pain of leaving the hospital. Manish then tells him that he loves his family a lot and what happened recently has made him wonder what if he had left the world without fulfilling his kids’ wishes. He was scared that because of him, his kids will be upset forever. He tells him that Akshara is the only grandchild whose childhood he remembers. He tells him when she was away from home for three years, it was the most difficult phase of his life and he eagerly waited for her to come back. But when she came back, Abhimanyu too came with her. He tells Abhimanyu that with whatever happened between the two families, he never thought of Abhimanyu as a good guy, but he was wrong. He then tells him that he is ready for their marriage but he has one condition.

Abhimanyu’s facial expression changed as soon as Manish said the word “condition”. Manish tells him once they get married, Akshara will perform all the rituals at the Birla house but once she goes to the Goenka house for pag-phera, they won’t come back to the Birla house but instead they will go to their new house. He said she can come to the Birla house for festivals and get-togethers but not otherwise. He tells Abhimanyu that his father wanted Aarohi to become their daughter-in-law and he knows that after marriage he won’t accept Akshara. He tells him that his mother and his siblings won’t have any problem but he knows the others will have and he doesn’t want Akshara to suffer anymore.

At the same time, Harshvardhan is worried what Manish and Abhimanyu must be talking about and tells the family that they should go there. Later, when a house help comes and tells him that he saw Manish and Abhimanyu hugging, Harshvardhan couldn’t wait any more, and he goes to them. Akshara and Kairav too come there and ask Manish and Abhimanyu about what happened.

Then we see in flashback that Abhimanyu tells Manish that he can go to any extent for Akshara and he had thought of leaving the house so many times, but couldn’t because his mother won’t leave the house, and he can’t live without her.

In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Manjari asks Abhimanyu if Manish has put forth a condition. The next day, Akshara calls Abhimanyu and tells him that Manish is not well. Abhimanyu rushes to their house and finds Manish fine. Akshara then tells him that he was sleep talking and has revealed the entire conversation that happened between them.
