Ekta Kapoor to Produce a Superhero Series for Zee TV

Producer Ekta Kapoor who recently turned a year old, launched the first poster of her upcoming web series Mission Over Mars (M.O.M) for Balaji Telefilms’ OTT platform, ALT Balaji. Now, the latest buzz is that the Czarina of daily soaps is coming up with a new show.

According to reports, Producer Ekta Kapoor is currently working on a new Television show, based on superheroes. It will be loosely inspired by the Hollywood superhero, Hulk. The scripting and casting for the show is underway and the name for the same has not been decided yet. The show will be aired on Zee TV where Balaji Telefilms’ two other shows, Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya are already doing well in the TRP game.

Also, there have been reports of Colors’ new show which is also based on superhero, starring actor Shivin Narang in lead role. Apart from superhero series, mythological genre is already trending these days. While shows like Radhakrishn, Mere Sai and Shrimad Bhagwat are already on-air, two new mythological shows are also making their way to our screens. One is Swastik Productions Luv Kush and other is Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ new show.
