Amit Behl and Anjali Gupta roped in for Colors’ show ‘Pishachini’

COLORS is set to bring a thrilling tale of one such conniving demoness in and as ‘Pishachini’. Darkness is unfolding in the quaint town of Bareilly, where Rani, the Pishachini has been unleashed. The town is mesmerized by Rani, however, free from her grip and who sees Rani’s true character is Pavitra. The show will feature popular actors Jiya Shankar as Pavithra while Nyrraa M Banerji will play the character of Rani aka ‘Pishachini’.

As per reports, Harsh Rajput has been roped in to play the main lead in the project. Now, India Forums has learned about an exciting set of entries in ‘Pishachini’. As per sources, actress Anjali Gupta and Amit Behl have been roped in for the show.

Anjali is known for her stint in shows like Mangalam Dangalam, Laal Ishq, Jiji Maa among others while Amit has been in the industry since a long time and is known for projects like Ek Haseena Thi, Peshwa Bajirao, Kasam, Kkusum among others.

Talking about being a part of the show, Nyrra said, “Supernatural shows have always excited me and I am thrilled to be part of ‘Pishachini’. Rani is one of the most complex characters that I have ever played and I want to thank COLORS for trusting me with this role.”

‘Pishachini’ will air soon on COLORS.

In the past, the channel has explored the supernatural and thriller genre with their shows like Naagin and Kavach. It will be interesting to see if ‘Pishachini’ will live up to the mark set up the previous shows of the same genre.
