‘Bawara Dil’ to go off-air in just six months
The past few days haven’t been good news for multiple shows. We have already witnessed an array of rumors that mentioned how some leading TV shows are all set to call it a wrap after being on-air for rather shorter periods. recently, it was reported that the likes of Mann Kee Awaz Pratigya 2 and Kaatelal & Sons are all set to call it a wrap and go off-air.
This streak of bad news continues as this time, it is a Colors show that is all set to go off-air. Colors’ Bawara Dil is set to go off-air in a mere six months of runtime. It is being reported that the show starring Aditya Redij and Kinjal Dhamecha will be airing its last on 20th August 2021. The show, which hit the tube in February this year, is a Hindi remake of the popular Marathi show, Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa. While Kalyani and Nikhil Sheth — the makers of the Marathi show – produced the Hindi version of the show, the channel brought Saurabh Tewari to take over the production reins in May. However, the channel has now decided to pull the plug on it.
Earlier, it was being informed that after the show’s shoot disrupted in Goa, the unit moved to Valsad. But the shoot was disrupted again owing to confusion over location and accommodation. This affected the telecast of the show and new episodes couldn’t be aired on three days. It has prompted the channel to bring in a new producer.
In the show, Aditya plays the role of Shiva Lashkare, the handyman of Akka Bai (Sumukhi Pendse), a local politician of Rudayat. He is a no-nonsense man. Kinjal, who plays Siddhi Gokarna, is the daughter of Masterji (Sharad Ponkshe) and is known for her righteousness. Bawara Dil also features seasoned actor Kiran Karmarkar, who is seen as Aditya’s father.
