Karan Or Balli? Monami gets closer to uncovering the truth in Ziddi Dil – Maane Na

Sony SAB’s Ziddi Dil – Maane Na is known for keeping the hearts pumping as it goes through enthralling plot twists and heartwarming moments between the characters. While Karan (Shaalien Malhotra) finally decides to propose to Monami (Kaveri Priyam) and even takes his mother’s ring for the same, there is trouble lurking in the paradise with Dhanu (Bhamini Oza) laying a trap to capture Karan and replace him with his doppleganger, Balli. After a carefully orchestrated accident, Balli finally steps into the academy, trying his best to keep the façade on and behave like the real Karan Shergill.

Monami and the gang are evidently worried as they are aware of Dhanu’s attempts to sabotage Karan’s life. While Balli reaches the academy, he struggles to navigate his way as he has a completely different personality than Karan. He tries mirroring him but fails to do so. During this time, he tries to steer clear of Monami and is adamant on pushing her away. He also fails to keep his look intact by dropping his lens at an accident site that puts him in a difficult spot. Monami on the other hand is constantly trying to get closer to him and understand this sudden change in behavior. While she feels it to be a stress disorder from the fight, she is still suspicious and tries to pull all the threads together.

Monami may be soft hearted but she is very intelligent and she loves fiercely. She can go to any lengths to protect her loved ones as we have already witnessed before. She knows Karan best and is very close to uncovering the whole truth.

Kaveri Priyam who essays the role of Monami says, “Monami loves Karan a lot and is truly concerned about his physical and mental health. Although the whole gang, including Karan had anticipated an attack from Dhanu, Monami believed that somehow Karan would be able to catch her in the act. Karan’s changed behavior towards her has added to her suspicion and the subtle clues only make it clearer that there is something wrong about Karan”.
