Ziddi Dil Maane Na gears up for the final showdown between Karan and Balli

Pumping up the level of romance, drama, thrill and action further, Sony SAB’s Ziddi Dil – Maane Na is back with the good vs evil narrative but this time with a twist. Special Agent Karan Shergill’s (Shaalien Malhotra) doppelganger is at the Parakaram academy under his identity and has his eyes set on the beautiful and kind-hearted Monami (Kaveri Priyam). While Karan is tormented in Dhanu’s captivity, Balli who is disguised as Karan is creating suspicion in everybody’s minds as nobody can match Karan’s personality and his discipline. The scene shifts to the Holi party where Balli seems to be in the mood for some fun and offers bhang to Monami to make her intoxicated.

Sanju (Diljot Chhabra) who has been highly suspicious all this while awaits Balli’s blood reports. on the other hand, Balli picks up Monami and takes her to a secluded location with nothing but bad intentions, Sanju follows up with the doctor in order to confirm her doubts. The tests reveal Balli to be an imposter and Sanju runs to the academy only to find Monami and Balli missing. On the other end, post a serious fall out with Dhanu, Karan pulls the trigger on her and manages to escape. Worried for Monami, he rushes to the academy, but would he make it in time and save her? What does destiny have in store for Karan and Monami next?

Shaalien Malhotra, who is essaying the role of Karan and Balli says, “Karan is hopeful that Monami will recognize Balli because their relationship transcends beyond the physical appearance and is more meaningful. They are each other’s soulmates and have an undeniable connection. Balli can act like Karan but he won’t be as caring and gentle as him and hopefully, Monami will pick up the cues and act accordingly. While Karan is in distress, Balli is trying to do something which is morally wrong. One should never take advantage of any woman under any circumstances. This track in the show thus attempts to teach all men to not stoop to Balli’s level and be more like Karan so that they deserve a Monami someday.”

Kaveri Priyam, essaying the role of Monami says, “Although Monami is suspicious, she is giving Balli the benefit of doubt. She is scared for Karan’s health and is in a mental turmoil herself since his accident. Balli is attracted to Monami and he feels that he has the right to take advantage of her under the pretense that Karan and Monami are in a relationship. But this is wrong on so many levels. The fact that Balli even thought of taking undue advantage of a woman is wrong. Monami can only hope that Karan will step up in the situation and rescue her. This track is a game changer and I hope fate is kind to both of us.”
